#NS0026 Double Amber/Purple is the more intense version of #NS0013 Amber/Purple. It produces the most exciting metallic purples and vermilions. It behaves similarly in the flame as regular Amber/Purple but because of its greater intensity more care has to be taken to prevent reduction. Double Amber/Purple can be stretched further and can be blown relatively thin without losing the vibrant purple strike. Be sure to try layering Double Amber/Purple over #NS0081 Blue Caramel. For a complete guide to working #NS0026 Double Amber/Purple refer to the Northstar bead brochure and Northstar Newsletter issue 3 for more tips
DBL AMBER PURP..!!! This is one of my favorite colors bar none!!! nice saturated amber purple color that doesn't boil and melts like butter...super easy to flame strike and hardly ever needs more then 1 kiln cycle I can't keep enough of this in my shop

Classic My favorite A/P! The rods are bubble free (in my experience), and I find just a regular kiln cycle at normal annealing temp brings out great colours! A little flame striking before it's put away can also add some variations.
