Details

NS125 Jet Black is a very dense black. It is well suited for sculptural applications and blown work. It is creamy and works easily, making it a welcome addition to the palette of blacks from which to choose. When working NS125 Jet Black, do so in an oxidizing flame. If worked in a reductive environment it will develop gray streaks on the surface and result in a dull matte finish. When applying the color, do so gently. After it is melted in it can take a lot of heat. NS125 Jet Black is great in combination with many colors and serves as a background for striking colors.

Love this stuff!

This is by far the best black I've tried to date. Super easy to work with. I've never had any problems with boiling. One thing I love about this black is that its quite dense in color so even when pulled out super fine into stringers, it retains its deep black color. I would highly recommend this color to anyone!

Awesome black!

It takes a while to grey out a bit but otherwise amazing color!

Bold and vivid

This is the best black I've found. It is easily workable, and doesn't boil. Works great for traditional tubes and exceptionally well in "vac-stacks". I will never use another black, I wish I would have found it sooner.

Love the stability and density

I back everything with this black. You can be downright ruthless with no greying. Love this black.

Jet Black is my crack

by

This is one of my go-to colors, and I can never seem to get enough of it. It is certainly the only black in my color supply right now, no need to stock any others, jet black does it all. I found nothing else really beats it in terms of price, work-ability/compatibility and quality. Jet black is a pretty easy color to work with, definitely use an oxidizing flame and make sure you have adequate shades because it can be pretty bright when its in the flame. 10/10 will be buying lbs of this color as long as its available!

Awesome color !

The best

by

My favorite black hands down

Good for canework and encasement, tough for bitwork

by -

Very saturate black, but VERY stiff and greys easily. I bought this to use for several applications, and it's been WONDERFUL for cane work where it's encased in clear and pulled super thin. However, I also wanted to use it for avolios/murresse in goblet stems, and found it completely unusable for that, simply too stiff and greyed out too easily.
