As many of you know, when purchasing a torch it can be difficult to find firsthand knowledge about them. That is why we are calling on our customers to help other lampworkers in making this important decision.

We are asking you to write a detailed review of your favorite or not so favorite torches. Many of you may remember shopping for your first torch. What would you have liked to know? Some ideas to include in the review would be: What are you making with it? What size tubing and rod can it melt? How efficient is it? What is the flame like? What is your favorite aspect of the torch, or not so favorite? You get the picture. The more specific you are the more helpful your review will be to others.

We will be giving away five $25 Mountain Glass Gift Certificates. One for each of the torch manufacturers we carry (Nortel, Carlisle, GTT, National & Bethlehem.) The Smith Little Torch will be grouped in with Bethlehem. These reviews will be chosen at random in each company.

In addition, a $50 gift certificate will be awarded to the review that gets the most "Likes". Share what you wrote by posting the item on Facebook so your friends can "Like" it. We will be picking the winning entries March 7th. Thanks for helping us and your fellow lampworkers take the guess work out of buying a torch.
