7-9mm - Transparent Orange Rod

Purchased a pound of this glass going by the photo and description. What I received was not like the photo. Color is about the same but there is very little transparency in the rods I received, many are quite opaque. I would describe them more like opaque with a bit of translucency, I would not use the word transparent in the description.

<br>I could not heat it hot enough to work (blowing simple glass balls) without some bubbling. Maybe that part is my technique, maybe not. Bubbles look fine in glass balls, but not what I was looking for or expecting.

<br>Having said that, when the balls came out of the kiln this morning my partner said she likes them and thought customers would also like them.
