Bullseye - Gold Purple Opalescent - Striker
• Approximate Diameter: 4-6mm
• Approximate Length: 14"-16"
• COE: 90 Compatible
Opaque, dark purple.
Torch: This style may not reveal (or strike to) its target color until fired. Gold Purple in rod form becomes lighter in color once flameworked. When molten, this glass has a low viscosity and can be quite soft, which may result in a blurred edge where it meets other glasses.
Kiln: Not recommended for kilnforming.
The name "Gold Purple" comes from the gold that is used as an ingredient in the manufacturing process.
Rods are pulled from re-melted Bullseye Compatible sheet glass. Rod is sold in lengths of approximately 18in. (450 mm) and 4-6mm in diameter. Bullseye rods are graded either as F (recommended for both kilnwork and torchwork) or T (recommended for torchwork only).
