Details
• Approximate Diameter: 4-6mm
• Approximate Length: 14"-16"
• COE: 90 Compatible
Cold Characteristics
Color shifts between transparent icy blue and lavender depending on the light source. Light Neo-Lavender Shift Tint is more transparent than Neo-Lavender Shift. Beware, this style looks clear when viewed through didymium lenses.
Working Notes
Hues of shift colors change depending on light source (natural, incandescent, LED, or fluorescent) and sometimes thickness, regardless of whether they have been fired or not.
Torch: Use over oranges and reds to intensify brightness. A stable tint that is not prone to reduction in a neutral flame.
Kiln: Fusible / Bullseye-compatible.
Other
Finished work will have the same color shift properties found in the cold glass. Not a striking glass.
Rods are pulled from re-melted Bullseye Compatible sheet glass. Rod is sold in lengths of approximately 18in. (450 mm) and 4-6mm in diameter. Bullseye rods are graded either as F (recommended for both kilnwork and torchwork) or T (recommended for torchwork only).
