Quantities less than 10 ozs. are cut into pre-fired strips for ease of use. This creates a soft, rounded edge that makes it very easy and clean for the glass to be melted. It also helps fuse the dichroic to the glass, which reduces flaking off .

The quarter, half and full sheets are not cut into strips or pre-fired.
