Marble Mold - Bump Style - 1/2", 3/4", 1", 1 1/4", 1 1/2" & 1 3/4"

this is by far the best mold you can get! it practically makes the marbles for you! this is one of the best purchases i have made for lamp working.

The bump mold really helps you step it up in forming a marble shape quicker. It creates more of a vacuum effect and it retains the heat from your marbles very well. The configuration of the differently sized molds makes it very easy to move from one to the next, very high quality graphite. If you're not doing marbles for a while, just flip it over and you have one great piece of flat graphite!

This was my latest purchase from a glass gathering. It is by far the best mold I have ever used.

I've worked with all sorts of marble molds from the cheap starter mold, to the infinite rim, to the bump mold, and the bump mold is hands-down my absolutely favorite. This one works the best for marbles because the bumped ridges let you place the marble in the mold without the graphite edges snagging the glass and putting lines and dents in your marble. It also works great for pendants that are a little on the large side because you can use the bump mold to push the glass toward the center and make a perfectly rounded lens on the pendant. I also use some of the craters for frit application. When making mushroom marbles, to put the "grass look" on the bottom of the mushrooms, I just put some green frit in the mold and then press my marble in the mold after the mushrooms are in, and there you have it! Highly recommend this! 5 stars and two thumbs up!

This marble mold is a fantastic addition to your lampworking tools. There are several different sizes and having the rounded edges makes molding much easier and faster. The only complaint would be the price. It is quite expensive, but as they say, you get what you pay for.

Love this mold. Heavy enough to stay stationary on your table without having to hold it. Love the bump style rounded edges. Use this mold all the time.

This is a super quality tool. When shopping for this mold make sure it is a Mike Close mold there are copies out there. Support the original!
