A beautiful, deep dark red that can be thinned out with clear and can go a long way; super workable in all flames. This red will get super dark the longer you garage it in the kiln. The rods for American beauty can appear clear, with a rose shade to them.

True Beauty

American beauty is the best kiln striking red I've used thusfar. Now before someone misunderstands, it is both kiln and self striking. It is comparible in color to Northstar Ruby but it seems to give a more even coloring. It's not prone to boiling. I recommend a slightly oxidizing flame for the best effect but I suggest that you try different flames yourself.
