Swirling honey with wisps of blue-purple and silver reflection. Blown out it tends to be a nice amber honey color. Outside work, with an oxidizing flame, gives a slight mirroring and iridescence.

Magic Mirror is a very easy to use striking color. Can be working in any flame setting. When used for surface work magic mirror can produce a sheen like mirror effect. When reduced it can produce a haze of tans and sometimes purples. I have had more luck flame striking this color reducing at the end. It can over strike in an oxidizing environment. Works great in any application.

There's really no other color like Magic Mirror. It's not an A/P, but works like one. Can be flame or kiln struck. Gathered thick, the transmitted shade can develop to a really nice, pinky amber shade with great refractive qualities. The surface reduction can get you everything from mirror effects, to swirls of blue, cream, and even green. Repeated striking cycles will result in some really cool greens. Give this one a try!
