Amber Purple Tubing - Northstar

Of the striking colors in the borosilicate palette, the amber/purples are some of the most exciting. NST013 is the first in a series of five Amber/Purple colors. It is well suited for sculpture and moderately thin blown work. The color can produce pale yellows to ambers to a deep purple. To yield the most vibrant purples, work in a hot neutral to slightly oxidizing flame. Reduction will affect the strike.

Tubing is sold by the ounce with a minimum order of 8 ounces. Tubes are pulled as close to the weight ordered as possible. Because of the nature of hand pulled tubes, the weight ordered and the weight sent/billed may vary by several ounces.

Please be aware that some tubes may taper or have varying wall thicknesses throughout the tube.
