Champagne Sparky - Trautman
Details
Stable and implodable, Champagne Sparky is a smooth champagne rod with silvery sparkles; may be worked from the rod without re-mixing. Great for layering when used thinner, as it adds nice sparkle, but not much, if any color. Champagne will strike a tad bit darker in the kiln; an effect that is particularly noticeable when it's used thicker.

A really nice color to mix with. Works great on top of elvis. Great for backs or marbles and great for implosions. If used on the survace a layer of clear would help protect the color from oxidation. For it does like to bubble if oxidize it but if worked soft/neutral you can get some beautiful golden sparkle tones!

I love all of Paul's colors, so when I was wishing for a yellow stardust, imagine how excited I was to see the Champagne!!Unfortunately, I haven't used it much as it is more the color of chewing tobacco as opposed to champagne. And the sparkle is very minimal. Oh and the worst part is it boils like crazy so use a very cool flame!!

I have been using Sparky to add wonderful glitter to the edges of twists and spirals. It is dense and will darken a little, so I use it thin or mix it with some clear. It works well over the Elvis colors and makes good sparkle/stars if you use it for Cosmic marble designs. Put it under you favorite transparent color to add some nice sparkle to your piece.
