Satiny shimmering sparkler that shifts greener in the kiln, Heavy Xenon is quite opaque and exxtra sexxy!! Heavy Xenon can bloom with a light blue haze, especially where encased, like Green X. The usual cautions for an aventurine color apply: limit long hot garaging and encase with care. Heavy Xenon has been successfully encased and imploded, but it is best suited for surface work.

Good but touchy

Absolutely love this color but when I tried it I had some trouble with cracks/checks so be careful! Read descriptions for sure
Not for the inexperienced

I love this color so much sparkle however I could never get it to not crack after the kiln definitely a user error I suggest talking with someone who has had success with this color first it’s certainly for more experienced flame workers
Lusters worth the efforts

This color is HIGHLY SENSITIVE, but if worked correctly, it's luster is dense beyond comparison. This color will teach you how heavy sparkles work-Follow the instructions (typically kiln @<950° and short annealing cycles) and you'll be more than satisfied with the results. Well worth the effort.
