Details
This rich, sparkly brown is very saturated and works smooth. Use a slightly reduced flame or oxidizing to neutral; melts and flows smoothly. The reflection of the sparkle will pick up adjacent colors. Don’t overwork or deep encase.

Dark, fairly dense, and glittery!

Quite a dark, slightly transparent colour with a good amount of glittery sparkly. I like to layer it over NS Egyptian White Sand to get a nice strong and not too dark brown.

Gingerbread Men

I was looking for a strong base color to lay (GA) Beryl over to make gingerbread men this past Christmas and I tried BG for the first time and got great results. Excellent for sculptural or blown work as long as its worked cool to keep it from "redding up". BG holds an even shimmer when coiled up by itself. I encased (GA) Amazon Bronze with a thick layer of BG and pulled some shimmery red tubing and made some great encalmo dishes. Like other glittery colors it does not like being soaked in the kiln for long periods of time.
Wicked looking

I coated some black 25mm tubing with this and encased that with clear. This is awesome stuff, heat variation makes the color change dramatically all sorts of browns with reddish/orange tones and lots of sparkle. It's very easy to work with, looks great magnified under some clear and the end result is amazing. It's one of my favorite colors!!!
