NS026 Double Amber/Purple is the more intense version of NS013 Amber Purple. It produces the most exciting metallic purples and vermilions. It behaves similarly in the flame as regular Amber/Purple but because of its greater intensity more care has to be taken to prevent reduction. Double Amber/Purple can be stretched further and can be blown relatively thin without losing the vibrant purple strike. Be sure to try layering Double Amber/Purple over NS081 Blue Caramel.

Double amber purple is by far my used colors and personal favorites. Although they were out of stock of the smaller sizes it I ordered the large and found its great for breaking up smaller earth toned frit patterns. Sweet optics.
Great for Inside Work

I use Double Amber Purple #25 for inside work. You can really pull the purples out if you hit it with a lot of heat or just take it easy on the piece and you'll leave it amber. Also, it's one of the transparents that melts in real easy.
Try Combined with a Dark Opaque!

For insideout, get the glass hot enough that the frit sticks to the inside then add a dark opaque frit behind it and you can get a beautiful spacey looking sparkle that really pops.
