NS137 Illumanati is a collaboration color from Northstar Glassworks and Gaffer Glass. Illumanati is the first brain child of this partnership. This glass contains URANIUM so it will fluoresce under UV light. We have found that short wave UV light in 365nm-405nm works best. We feel this color has amazing working properties and can be used in any type of flame. This glass can be used in any application with no problems of cracking or incompatibility. The color in natural light is an amazing transparent neon green with many opportunities for layering. If you are cold working use standard safety practices regarding personal protection.

Amazing glass

by -

While it may take a minute to get working with this color once you do you will be amazed at what you can do with it.

So bright! So awesome!

by -

This color is amazing! I've used a few other uv colors such as half life and even the old Corning uranium glass... This is BY FAR the brightest and easiest to work! The only problem I've come into with this color is it tends to boil if heated to fast and hot. Treat like a crayon color and this will add an amazing twist to any piece!

so much fun!

This is one of those colors that will never get old. If you are looking for something to accent your work or making full pieces out of this is a great color to choose. This works so much nicer than the old vaseline UV glass. This is no where near as tempermental as that stuff, just dont over heat or it will get that grey haze and the glow will be gone. I love this color bottom line. three thumbs WAY up!!

Everything you've ever wanted!

I love this stuff! In daylight it's like a much more intense version of Sublime, and under UV it glows BRIGHT green from across the room! It works easily although it can bubble if heated too rapidly, and a slight grey haze can form if you really abuse the color. It layers well with anything and can be mixed into other colors without losing much of the UV glow.

Dope color, tendency to boil

this color is pretty fantastic, i picked up a rod of it recently at mountain glass's store in asheville and i have to say the results have been pretty great. the color is vibrant and glows pretty intensely under UV light. a few things to note though: -it has a tendency to boil at higher temperatures, so keep it in the further end of the flame -it is nearly invisible when it's thin, in things like implosions you can't see it without a blacklight. this may or may not be a desirable effect -at higher thicknesses it tends to look a bit cloudy, and it's hard to make out finer details through it. overall it's pretty damn great, just giving 4 out of 5 because the label didnt mention how easily it would boil in the hotter parts of the flame

illuminati

a very powerful uv reactive transluscent yellow with a bright green shine workability i would say just right not to hard and not to soft perfect for blowouts and accents

Awesome colors

This color is unbelievable. It can be watered down 4x with tubing to be made almost clear & invisible but still hold a strong glow under a black light. Like all colors needs to be worked appropriately to italics full expectations. But works great coated in clear !

Also works great over silver & gold fume!

Super bright under a UV light/blacklight

by

Super clean color under a UV light. With addition of some color in a stack pieces look fantastic both under the blacklight and in the sunlight. It is too soon for a cool color to be going extinct but I guess that’s how things go.

Looks like toxic waste from the simpsons

by

This color is the best uv color that Ive ever used! The uv is super bright and its very hard for this color to wash out because it can be applied very lightly and still be visible in the blacklight. When the color is not in the blacklight it looks like a slimey toxic looking green thats been missing from the glassblowers color palette for years. Its brighter than sublime and more stable than sublime. be careful not to boil it

Baby come back!

by

This color is by far the brightest UV on the market. Slightly yellowish in rod form with an intense green glow under UV light. I sit anxiously awaiting it long rumored return.

Wow

by

One of the dopest colors I've ever seen. I'm proud that I have a lil to play with in my color palet. Glows a vibrant green in normal light then pops almost as hard as Vaseline glass in uv light🔥🤤

Baby come back...

The hype was real, smooth like butter, silky like the stuff from corn on the cobb, and well if you didn't know what you were doing she'd boil like water at 420°. Filled with just enough Uranium to pop under UV light, but not enough for concern. But sadly none of this matters anymore, just a thing of the past.

Glows bright!

by

Awesome color! Shines very bright under a uv light even if you layer it onto or nder clear

When they make more I’ll buy it

by

What’s not to love about this color? It’s the best uv color. I hope this color gets made again. I’m sure I’m not the only one who would like to get my hands on more. I have one stick left I’ve been saving!

That glow tho

by

An undisputed fan favorite and a tribute to "vaseline glass". The glow is unrivaled and it works like actual butter. One of the most enjoyable colors to work with on any palette.

Very nice

by

I mean it's got the best uv reaction around, if you want that uv pop this is the best option.

Everyone loves it

by

Awesome lime green with the sick UV glow. Hard to find and now expensive, but it’s worth it if you know what your doing, boils a little if you’re not careful.

The very best UV

by

The gold standard of UV glass

We miss you so much, please come back

by

We all pine for you, Illuminati, there is but a handful left now, small bits here and there hoarded by the few privileged folks lucky enough to have procured a suitable amount for themselves, but alas, the rest are just bereft of the special green glow we all know and love, oh please northstar glass, please bring back Illuminati soon.
