Dwarf White - Trautman
Very smooth and creamy, Dwarf White is a bit translucent and is perfect for those times when you don’t want much density – if you are making clouds or teeth, for example. Resists boil once brought up to temperature in the softer upper flame. Dwarf White has a fine, smooth texture and is not sensitive to atmosphere, but many people like to use a lot of oxy with white boro to reduce the chance of boil.

I have noticed a lot of trapped air in much of the dwarf white I bought from TAG, I called and they gave me a break on some other color, but even the good sticks required a fair amount of preheating and very gentle working (more than your typical white) it does boil fairly easy and lookes horrid if it does. However. if you are patient (and perhaps a touch lucky) the results are incomparable.

This color works well in the flame. Melts nice and smooth. Doesn't boil easily. However it has checked in every piece I've used it in. Some have come out of the kiln checked. Some have checked a day or two later. None of the glass I was using was odds or seconds. I love the color, I just wish I could use it with something other than itself.
Easy working white

Really nice easy to use white. It's not super white like whiteout or stag white its a little more translucent and grainy, but it works really easy and is hard to boil.
