Melding today's style with the safety that flameworkers need, these stylish plastic frame glasses are comfortable, lightweight, and feature polycarbonate lenses. Polycarbonate lenses are lightweight and scratch-resistant that filter sodium flare and UV similar to glass Didymium or ACE lenses. These frames are black with blue highlights.
These glasses have the addition of a welder shade #3 for additional brightness reduction. The glasses in the “B3” series would typically be used by the borosilicate glass lampworker.

Dont buy these for long term use!

For the price they work, but i really do question how well they protect your eyes. They dont have a didymium lens on them but use a similar filter that does the job but how well no one really knows! This style also gets some pretty bad light leak from under the eyes. In hindsight shoulda just dished out the extra 75 for the phillips ACE frames!
