When you would like to replace your worn out pins when you change coils, this is what you will need. There are usually 2 in each corner or 6-8 at the ends of lid coils.

When pinning a lid coil, be sure and insert your pins at a 45 degree angle, so they cannot fall straight out easily when the brick expands and contracts. You want to move them over from the original hole, and push them into fresh brick for best results.
