Europa Star - ODDS - Trautman

Named for a moon of Jupiter, Europa Star is a mix of the stable Stardust aventurine with reactive silvered A/P. The base tends more toward ambers/purples; the strong striking nature of this color can hide the sparkles; highly reactive.

Europa Star is a flame striker that will deepen its effects in the anneal cycle at 1050° F. Again, the usual precautions for an aventurine should be taken -- avoid long hot garaging and high temperature kiln strikes. However, the Stardust technology provides a very stable sparkle and we have imploded these colors in smaller marbles with success.

Odd quality glass is first quality glass that is out of round, thinner/thicker than normal, has a taper, varies in diameter and/or is not full length. Odd quality glass can provide a great value to the right person.
