Maple Syrup - Northstar
Details
NS141 Maple Syrup is a color Northstar has reached back into the history books for. Originally discontinued from our palette as NS042 Cinnamon, we have brought back this transparent brown with a reformulation to decrease air content and homogenize the color. This glass is color stable and easy to work in the flame. We hope this color fuels the imagination of artists looking to explore the earth tones.

A saucy sweet brown
by Shane -
Personally one of my favorite colors. its an easy working transparent brown. Can be used in a variety of ways. An excellent addition to woodgrain techs but I tend to use it in blown work. I would suggest doing a blow out vs coil pot as it can leave some coil lines but nothing significant. Clean and worry free.

Wood grain’s best friend

Awesome color all around, I use it for my wood grain which I layer caramel and grizzly over clear and then do a top coat of the syrup to really round out all the browns and provide a rich end product!
Mmmmmm……maple syrup

Love this color!!!! It’s easy to work with, can take a lot of heat and doesn’t boil like other transparent browns on the market.

Absolutely beautiful transparent brown. Great for making drippy pendants and things you want to look like concentrate!
