Butterscotch - Northstar
Butterscotch is a semi opaque buttery tan color. It can yield rich purplish blue tones and silver hues. When kept in a more oxidizing environment more of the blues and purples will appear. If reduced, a silvery haze will appear on the surface. Butterscotch is easy to work and can take a lot of heat making it a forgiving striking color. It can be stretched out and is good for blown work and sculpture. If you are looking for something even more intense, try NS044 Caramel.
Second quality glass can have the properties of odd quality glass, but may also have small stones, air bubbles, vary in tone/shade, or the shape can be very out of round. Both odd and second quality glass can provide a great value to the right person.

This is one of those colors that I ALWAYS have in my arsenal. It melts like butter and is pretty much bullet proof. If you are a beginner this is one of those colors you should be working with. It wont disappoint .
