Loch Ness - Northstar
Loch Ness is a dark opaque, sparkly dark green that can be used in virtually any application. Best if worked in a neutral to oxidizing flame to achieve optimum results. Extended annealing tends to bring out a golden hue in this color.
Second quality glass can have the properties of odd quality glass, but may also have small stones, air bubbles, vary in tone/shade, or the shape can be very out of round. Both odd and second quality glass can provide a great value to the right person.

This is my favorite opaque color! It is my go to for sparkle because it can be used to have a subtle sparkle or a wonderful golden sparkle. I love to overlay transparent striking colors or just clear to magnify the unique sparkle.
