Silver Creek - Northstar
Silver Creek is a silver based color which produces the most exciting metallic purples and vermilions as well as silvery greens and blues. It is a very stable color. It behaves similarly in the flame as NS013 Amber Purple and NS026 Double Amber Purple, but because of its greater core range, more care has to be taken to prevent reduction and boiling. NS105 Silver Creek can be stretched and can be blown relatively thin without losing the vibrant colors. Try using with other colors to achieve multi layered color combinations.
Second quality glass can have the properties of odd quality glass, but may also have small stones, air bubbles, vary in tone/shade, or the shape can be very out of round. Both odd and second quality glass can provide a great value to the right person.
Ratings & Reviews
Silver Creek is one of my favorite striking colors, in my opinion comparable to Lokis Lipstick but with deeper, more saturated purples. I use it inside marbles and on surface, with great results from both. My best results come from high oxygen and low propane. I would recommend a cool flame striking process for the purples.
One of my favs.
This striking color is ome of my favs. It has such good range of color and is easy to work with.
