Details

NS119 Super Unobtanium is a dark blue sparkle. This color has lots of large crystals of metal on the surface. It is well suited for stringer application and blown work. It is easily worked and can take a lot of heat. To keep the color most vibrant, work in a neutral to slightly oxidizing flame. Try to avoid deep encasement as it may cause cracking.

Please use NS119 Super Unobtanium with care and test before you make any thing that is expensive. Outside work seems to work just great with no problems. Try coating NS119 Super Unobtanium with NS086 Garnet or NS088 Pomegranate to achieve a brilliant ruby sparkle. Any transparent color coated over NS119 Super Unobtanium looks great. NS119 Super Unobtanium has lots more sparkle, but does not have the gun metal surface of NS104 Unobtanium.

Best sparkly blue out!

Some people have trouble with this color I/O and encased. Just have make sure to base color in work. I use on I/O and never have checking issues.

My Favorite

by

This is one of my all time favorite colors. Has issues with deep encasement, though some have found ways to work it in, I have not. Surface application however is creamy, forgiving, and very crisp looking. The sparkle effect of this color is it’s true gem. Even in thin layers it is a solid color. Works in just about any flame, no boiling, no hazing. For beginners, this is one of the more forgiving colors I have ever worked with.

Absolutely beautiful

Paint this onto clear very thinly before encasing.

Glass is my teacher!

I love the ability to layer colors to make one incredible never before seen combination that can be sparkly/cfl/uv/slymey all at the same time! Its been a true joy to have been fully dedicated to this art form for 7 years nonstop and this is my 33rd year alive so needless to say ive been waiting on this year since the day ive started flameworking….😅😮‍💨🥰 so thankful and forever grateful!
