Satin Slyme - Trautman
Details
Glimmering and beautiful, Satin Slyme has an unusual shampoo-like shimmer that is best retained by working the glass very cool and in a very reducing atmosphere; can range from translucent to a milky semi-opaque, depending on how you work it.
Work cooler to keep Slyme more opaque, with a soft reducing flame. This also prevents reboil and scumming. Goes transparent under higher heat, but can re-strike to a ghostly milky green haze. Satin has a unique shimmer, like shampoo, and will be more satiny where worked cool, and more transparent where worked hot.
