Violet Medley - Momka's
Details
An artist's favorite striking color. The rod is a funky avocado green and is worked like any amber purple; by heating to white hot and keeping the surface haze burned off. When the piece is finished, let it cool until the orange glow is gone and then strike to purples by reintroducing the piece to the outermost portion of the flame.
Areas that have had the haze burned off will turn a rich dark transparent purple and areas that the haze is left on show up as a pretty cloudy blue. It is very easy to flame strike.

Violet Medley

I worked this color in a Nuetral-oxidizing flame coil potting an even section or coiling around tube, without melting in the lines I then striped clear over it and covered it completely. after melting everything in smooth and working my piece the result was a crocodile skin pattern with many colors ranging from orange, green and purple in an earthy tone.
Beautiful color

If I could pick only one Momka color, this would be it. Smooth melting, nice color variations with different flame chemistry, and consistent from batch to batch.
