Blue Spruce - Northstar
Just as trees have growth rings; Blue Spruce will develop regular steely blue striations on the surface of the glass. Reduction develops these striations or rings. If kept oxidized, Blue Spruce will remain pure and offers a fully saturated blue-green opaque for stringers and blown work. Try reducing, then casing with clear glass for a neat effect! Amber/Purples look great with NS079 Blue Spruce as well. This color is a must have in any palette.

this is a very nice saturated blue color. it really holds true when encased or imploded, doesn't bleed. I have not had an easy time getting it to strike, but frankly the initial color is why I buy it. looks good contrasted with an orange color.
Bold and beautiful blue

Blue Spruce has become one of my favorite, go-to colors. This blue is extremely bold, and holds up well in thinner, stringer applications. I love that the color can appear somewhat striated, where the line look like the rings of a tree. Will be buying more when it is back in stock.
