Yellow is an eye catching, striking transparent yellow. It can be struck in a kiln or in the flame. This is another good forgiving, striking color for those starting out. If it is worked in an oxidizing environment, Yellow will yield a transparent golden yellow. If worked in a neutral to slightly reducing flame, it will start to darken and turn a semi-opaque amber color. Because the strike can be easily controlled, NST009 Yellow can be used for sculpture, beads, and blown work without washing out or overpowering the work.
Tubing is sold by the ounce with a minimum order of 8 ounces. Tubes are pulled as close to the weight ordered as possible. Because of the nature of hand pulled tubes, the weight ordered and the weight sent/billed may vary by several ounces.
Please be aware that some tubes may taper or have varying wall thicknesses throughout the tube.

The wall of the tubing was seconds at best. Very uneven. The yellow looks more like simple silver fume. It has a yellow and blue color to it exactly like silver fume. Was looking for a real yellow . It wasnt first quality . When asked about a replacement the woman in the office said they were all uneven. Its strikes really easy but its blue ,pinks, purples , and yellows. Would make a nice color to overlay on white or other colors . Over all i give it a thumbs down on the tube pull and as far as the colors discription.

fantastic color. Try imploding clear dots into this tubing …. Thank me later . Other colors look great imploded as well.This color reminds me of simple silver fume , but without the risk of burning your precious fumes away! of course this looks great with other tech too ! how about wrap and rake.. hmm
Nice fume color

Works well for implosions. Love the fuminess it gives the final piece. It’s good for hollow work too. Depending on your flame it can look more yellow or more like fume. Fun color to work with.

Great easy color to work with. Always keep some in the lineup. Great for many techniques and can achieve different tones with different flames.
