Heavy Blue Stardust - Trautman

The Big Brother of Blue Stardust, this heavy version has gorgeous deep Sapphire Blue color and plenty of sparkle. I love it as I can put it over clear and still get lots of deep blue color in my pieces. It is stunning when deeply encased and used as twists or spirals. Icicles love sparkle and be this color of blue. Exceptional when used over Whiteout.

You can NEVER go wrong with this color, pairs perfect with so many colors and the sparkle really ties it all together.

I love using this color for blown work. Very easy to work in a neutral flame.

Heavy blue stardust is by far one of my favorites from TAG all there colors work very smooth and stable the intense sparkle in this heavy blue stardust is absolutely amazing in the sun and will add serious appeal to any piece you make !! Don't work it too much or too hot an you will be very happy with your results !!

Possibly my favorite color to work with. I have been working with it for years and always have it in my shop. Looks good with so many other colors, works easy, can be layered with other colors (on top of or underneath). It never gives me any issues. I find the Heavy Stardust has the perfect amount of sparkle- you can tell it’s sparkly in any lighting and in bright lights it really sparkles (customers often confuse it with crushed Opal).

Not only is this my favorite sparkle color(from all brands), Heavy blue stardust is by far one of my top 3 colors of all time! Great sparkle, keeps a deep color even when layering, and best of all it works like a charm! Smooth, easy to handle, and works well in any flame! Definitely a much have in the color pallet!

I found out about this color from a fellow marble maker… I loved the ability to have the sparkle effect without having to add Dichroic glass. I recently have been encasing opals & have found this to be a nice backing color for the opposite side. The next one I will be experimenting with a dot stack on this opposite side over the Heavy Blue Stardust from Trautman!!
