Queen Bee is the less saturated cousin of Caramelo; easy to strike and allows more light to penetrate the finished work, which shows more purples and pinks. Oxidize to strike up brighter colors; reduce for fleshy and earthy tones.

A personal favorite.

I have tried every amber purple I could find and by far I like this the most. It is obviously a refined version of Northstar double AP. I buy this by the pound and always keep it around, it's good for a lot of things and I love to use it.

TAG Queen Bee

Queen Bee is a fabulous Amber Purple. I have worked all the AP colors out there and this one easily always gives me the best colors. It is the easiest/best AP I have (and I have an awful lot of them). Never had any trouble getting rich purples, amber, and a little blue from this glass. When I want beautiful rich AP colors without the worry about flame striking it just so, I always use Queen Bee.
