Forest Green - Northstar
NS053 Forest Green is a very saturated, fully opaque green that just might be the most versatile green in the market today. It can be worked in any flame without fear of discoloration. It is recommended to stay in a neutral flame. It works well for encased applications. It is great for stringer applications and thin blown work. For a neat effect, try layering NS003 Multi over NS053 Forest Green.

I find ths rod to be too heat sensitive for most prodo. It’s a nice color to use encased in clear or for insideout work, but I prefer other greens for outside work in a case like mine where time costs money.
I like this green and have not had any issues with it...Looks like crap when hot but once it cools down I find it to work out nicely...Admittedly, I have not tried a whole lot of greens though...
Green for Darker Toned Rainbows
I bought this for darker toned rainbows. It is easy to work and seems to hold up well to deep encasement and pulling in cane work.
Good for deep encasement

I'm a big fan of this green because it plays well in canes.

great for deep encasement/marbles.
can boil easily, so must be gentle. But this is the most consistent green which does NOT crack in marble implosions/vortex work. Many other greens cause cracking with deep encasement, but this one holds up. needs some clear sleeving to take the heat of more intense applications, like backing a marble.
