Sublime - Northstar
Sublime is a transparent iridescent signal light green. It is the most eye catching borosilicate transparent color in the palette. Sublime is atmospherically stable meaning it can be worked in any flame without the color being affected. It is a member of the transparent family but it is saturated enough for thin blown work. Its most exciting application is as an overlay color. It looks amazing over NS081 Blue Caramel.

I don't know if it's just my batch, but it doesn't seem anywhere near as bright as the sample pictures. It's an interesting overlay colour to use instead of clear, but to get the fluorescent look it has to be really thick.

I have just used sublime for a couple of lens on a piece that was garnet red. I expected the green to pop. I could barely tell there was any green in the lens. In the right light i could see it a bit. Perhaps there is something about this color i am over looking
Bit of a rollercoaster.
This color looks amazing from certain angles. Rods ‘on end’ give an Illuminati-like glow. Leading one to believe it will be that poppy in other applications, which is not always true. It can be quite useful for overlays or to drill mix with sparkle for custom colors.
